How do you make a timer rooted in universal design?  Only after extensive user research could we create the Time Timer MAX, a visual timer big enough to stand out in large spaces like gymnasiums, cafeterias and meeting rooms. We met users who needed countdown intervals as short as 5 minutes, or as long as 24 hours, so we created customizable time units. We included a dry-erase face, allowing them to visualize actions through drawing or writing. And since bigger rooms require unique timer placement, we added a kickstand, as well as the ability to hang on a wall or whiteboard.
